InstaWizard can't tap or swipe for you until Android's Accessibility Service is switched on. It takes a couple of minutes, and you only do it once.
Android shows several warnings for any app that did not come from the Play Store. Every one below is expected. None of them means something is wrong with InstaWizard — they are the same screens you would see installing anything this way.
You get this when you open the downloaded file — and if your browser asked something similar while saving it, that was the same thing. The buttons are Cancel and Open file, and Open file is the one you want. Android says it about anything that did not come from the Play Store; it has not inspected InstaWizard and found something.
The first time you open the downloaded file, Android says “For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source.” Tap Settings — it already points at the right app — turn the switch on, and press back.
If it asks a second time, nothing failed. Android grants this per app, not once for the phone. If you first opened the file from your browser and later open it from Files or My Files, it asks again for that app. Turn it on there too.
If your Galaxy says this, go to Settings › Security and privacy › Auto Blocker and turn it off, install InstaWizard, then turn it back on if you want it. On Galaxy phones released in 2025 or later this is on out of the box.
Auto Blocker is a hard block — there is no “install anyway” on that screen — and it overrides the permission in step 2, so allowing unknown apps does not get past it. If you switch it back on, InstaWizard's own updates will not install either, and you will need to repeat this each time it updates.
This is the screen most people give up on, and it is worth reading twice. Play Protect says “Play Protect hasn’t seen an app from this developer before” and offers one button: Got it. That button cancels the install. There is no “install” anywhere on it.
Tap More details first. It is the small grey line above the button, and it is collapsed by default. Expanding it reveals Install anyway — that is the one you need. Tap Got it without expanding and nothing installs, which looks exactly as though the app was refused.
It appears on every update as well as the first install, because each new version is a file Play Protect has not seen before. On some phones you get a milder version offering Scan app instead — let it scan, then tap Install.
